Why Costa Blanca terraces get dirty so fast
The climate here is hard on outdoor floors. Saharan dust and calima leave a fine brown-yellow layer on the terrace, irrigation and overnight humidity encourage green algae and moss in shaded areas, and near the coast salt settles on tiles and stone. In a few months a terrace that was light beige can look grey-green and turn slippery when wet. Pressure cleaning brings back the original colour and the safety of walking without slipping.

Each material needs a different pressure and nozzle, which is why we always test a low-visibility area before tackling the whole surface.
How we work
We arrive with a professional pressure washer, a rotary surface nozzle for large areas and a lance for corners, joints and edges. First we move furniture, pots and obstacles, sweep up loose dirt and, if there are grease or tyre stains on the driveway, apply a specific degreaser to act before the pressurised water. Then we clean the whole surface in ordered passes to avoid leaving marks, paying special attention to joints and corners where algae build up.
Protective finish and how often to do it
Once the surface is clean and dry, we offer two optional finishes. Joint sealing slows down the regrowth of weeds and algae and makes future cleaning easier. Anti-slip treatment is highly recommended on walkways and around the pool, where wet tiles are a real risk for children and older people. As for frequency, on the Costa Blanca a yearly clean in spring is enough for most terraces; areas in shade or near a lot of trees may need it twice a year.
