Automatic and drip irrigation
Installation, programming and repair of drip and sprinkler systems. We find leaks, adjust by season and keep the garden green using less water.
Recognise any of these symptoms?
- ●The garden dries out even though the irrigation "works", or some areas never get water
- ●The water bill has shot up and you don’t know why
- ●The controller is old, you can’t use it or it has broken down
- ●There are puddles, odd pressure or damp areas pointing to a buried leak
- ●You’re going away and want the garden to water itself in your absence

What our service includes
Four commitments that set a professional job apart.
System diagnosis
We check drippers, sprinklers, solenoid valves, pressure and controller to see what’s failing and what’s missing.
Installation and repair
We fit new drip or sprinkler systems and repair pipes, drippers, sprinklers and valves.
Seasonal programming
We set the controller by zone and season to water at the right time and the right amount.
Leak detection
We locate leaks in buried networks, repair them and verify there’s no phantom consumption left.
Why irrigation is key on the Costa Blanca
In a climate with long, dry summers and very little rain between May and September, automatic irrigation isn’t a luxury: it’s what keeps the garden alive. A well-designed, well-programmed system waters early morning or late evening, when evaporation is lowest, takes water straight to the root via drip, and adapts timings to each season. A badly set system, on the other hand, over-waters at midday, loses half the water to evaporation and pushes the bill up without the garden improving.
We handle both main types of irrigation. Drip, ideal for beds, hedges, trees and vegetable patches, takes water drop by drop to the base of each plant and is the most water-efficient. Sprinklers, for lawn and grassed areas, spread the water as a fine rain. Many gardens combine both by zone, each with its own solenoid valve and independent programming.
Installing a new system
For a new installation we start by measuring the garden and grouping it into zones by water need: lawn doesn’t water like succulents. We design the pipe layout, calculate the number of drippers and sprinklers, fit the solenoid valves and connect everything to a controller, which can be battery on the tap or electric on the wall, and increasingly, controllable from your phone. We leave every zone tested and programmed, and explain how to change the timings when the season changes.
Leak and fault repair
The most common faults are drippers and sprinklers clogged by the lime in the water here, solenoid valves that won’t open or close, controllers that have lost their settings and, above all, leaks in the buried pipes. A hidden leak can go unnoticed for months, showing only in the water bill or in a permanently waterlogged patch of garden. We locate the leak, open the minimum necessary, repair the section and check there’s no phantom consumption left.
Seasonal programming and water saving
The same garden doesn’t need the same watering in April as in August. We adjust the controller by season: more frequency and duration in summer, less in spring and autumn, and almost none in winter. For clients away for long stretches we leave a robust schedule that runs the whole period without intervention and, if you wish, systems with phone control and a rain sensor so it doesn’t water when it isn’t needed.

FAQ
Drip or sprinkler, which suits me?
Drip for beds, hedges, trees and vegetable patches, because it takes water to the root and uses less. Sprinklers for lawn and grassed areas. Most gardens combine both by zone with independent programming.
My water bill has shot up, could it be a leak?
Very likely. A leak in a buried pipe can go unnoticed for months. We locate it, open the minimum, repair the section and check there’s no phantom consumption left.
Can you fit irrigation controlled from a phone?
Yes, we install controllers with phone control and, on request, a rain sensor so it doesn’t water when it has already rained. Very useful for owners who are away.
Do you repair old controllers and valves?
Yes, while parts are available. If the controller is very old or parts can’t be found, we recommend replacing it with a current one, more reliable and easier to program.
Do you adjust irrigation by season?
Yes. We set more frequency and duration in summer and less in spring, autumn and winter. For long absences we leave a schedule that runs the whole period without you having to touch anything.
