01Purpose and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, "Terms") govern access to and use of the website https://manitas.es and the contracting of repair, maintenance and home assistance services provided by Manitas IO SL (hereinafter, "Manitas").

Access to the website and use of the services implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, you must refrain from using the website and contracting the services.
Manitas reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the website and will take effect from the moment of publication. Users are advised to review the current version of the Terms periodically.
02Service description
Manitas IO SL puts individual users and businesses in contact with verified home professionals (plumbers, electricians, handymen, locksmiths and other specialists) on the Costa Blanca and Vega Baja, mainly in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia.
The service provided by Manitas includes:
- A free, no-commitment quote request via WhatsApp, phone or web form.
- Assignment of a verified professional suited to the nature of the requested intervention.
- Coordination of the intervention and follow-up of the service quality.
- A 30-day satisfaction guarantee on the work performed.
- After-sales customer service for any incident or complaint.
Services are subject to geographic and time-slot availability. Manitas reserves the right not to accept service requests outside its usual coverage area or where technical or safety circumstances make it inadvisable.
03Contracting process
The contracting of services follows this process:
- Request: The user requests a free quote via WhatsApp, phone or web form, indicating the nature of the intervention and the address.
- Quote: Manitas sends a written quote (email or WhatsApp) before any intervention, detailing the scope of the work, the materials required and the total price.
- Acceptance: The user expressly accepts the quote before work begins. This acceptance may be given in writing (email, WhatsApp) or verbally.
- Intervention: Once the quote is accepted, Manitas assigns a verified professional and coordinates the date and time of the intervention with the user.
- Payment: Payment is made upon completion of the intervention, according to the conditions set out in the quote.
Acceptance of the quote formalises the service contract between Manitas IO SL and the user, in accordance with the conditions set out in the quote and in these Terms.
04Prices and payment
The quote is always free and without commitment. If the intervention requires a prior on-site visit to assess the scope of the work, this visit may have a minimal cost which will be expressly indicated to the user beforehand.
Prices are fixed in the quote approved by the user and remain unchanged unless additional necessary work is discovered during the intervention. In such cases, Manitas will communicate the additional amount to the user before continuing and will request their express approval.
All prices include applicable VAT in accordance with current Spanish legislation.
Payment is made upon completion of the intervention, in cash or by bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed beforehand. For larger jobs, a partial advance payment may be agreed; this will be expressly indicated in the quote and will never exceed 50% of the total estimated amount.
In the event of non-payment, Manitas reserves the right to claim the amounts owed through the appropriate legal channels, as well as any applicable late-payment interest under current legislation.
05Guarantee
All interventions carried out by the network of professionals of Manitas IO SL include a 30-calendar-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of the intervention.
If the same fault reappears within the guarantee period, Manitas will send a professional at no additional cost to resolve the issue. This guarantee is additional to the legal guarantees recognised to the consumer under applicable Spanish and European regulations.
The guarantee does not cover the following situations:
- Damage caused by improper or negligent use by the user.
- Faults different from the one repaired or unrelated to the intervention.
- Damage caused by third parties unconnected with Manitas or by force majeure.
- Subsequent handling or intervention by a third party not authorised by Manitas.
- Materials provided by the user that present manufacturing defects.
To activate the guarantee, the user must contact Manitas at hola@manitas.es or by WhatsApp, indicating the quote number and a description of the issue.
06Cancellation and modification
The user may cancel a scheduled intervention with at least 2 hours' notice at no cost, by contacting Manitas by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice may incur a travel charge if the professional was already en route or had begun the journey to the user's address. This charge will be communicated to the user and invoiced separately.
Manitas reserves the right to reschedule an intervention due to force majeure (adverse weather conditions, professional illness, transport accidents, etc.), notifying the user as far in advance as possible and proposing a new date.
In accordance with article 103.b) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the right of withdrawal does not apply to fully executed services where execution began with the consumer's prior express consent.
07Liability of the professionals
The professionals making up the Manitas IO SL network are independent self-employed workers, duly verified, registered with the relevant tax and social security regime and covered by the professional civil liability insurance required under applicable regulations.
Before incorporating a professional into the network, Manitas verifies the following documentation:
- Identity document or equivalent.
- Registration in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) or applicable regime.
- Certificate of professional qualification or proven experience.
- Valid professional civil liability insurance policy.
- References and reviews from previous clients where available.
In the event of material damage caused by the negligence of the professional during the intervention, the professional's civil liability insurance covers the damage caused in accordance with the terms of the policy. Manitas actively cooperates with the user and the insurer to facilitate the handling of the claim.
08Limitation of liability
Manitas IO SL applies all reasonable means to ensure the quality and safety of the services provided. Nevertheless, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, Manitas shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data or consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from the use of the website or the contracting of the services.
In any case, Manitas's total cumulative liability towards the user will be limited to the amount effectively paid by the user for the intervention giving rise to the claim, without prejudice to the non-waivable legal guarantees recognised to the consumer.
Manitas is not responsible for website interruptions, technical errors, computer viruses or other harmful elements arising from access to or use of the site that are not directly attributable to it.
09Data protection
The processing of personal data provided by the user when requesting and receiving services is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://manitas.es/en/privacy-policy/
Manitas IO SL is the controller of the personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hola@manitas.es.
10Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of these Terms, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the consumer's domicile, without prejudice to other jurisdictions that may apply by law.
