When the water stops going down

What we do: from household pipes to septic tanks
Pipe unblocking is the day-to-day job: sinks, baths, toilets, kitchen and bathroom drains, using either an electric machine or pressure water depending on the case. For urbanisations that still aren’t connected to the mains sewer network, we empty and maintain septic tanks with the tanker truck, very common in villas around Rojales, San Miguel de Salinas or Los Montesinos.
The tanker truck and jetting unit also come into play for collapsed drains, communal soil pipes with grease or sediment build-up, and deep cleans that a simple plunger can’t fix. When the problem isn’t obvious, we send a camera down the pipe: we locate the exact crack, root or blockage without lifting a single tile, and we show you the footage so you can see for yourself what’s going on.
Vega Baja’s pipework has its own history
Many buildings in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa were built in the 80s and 90s, and the pipework has had its day. On top of that, sand from the nearby beaches works its way into the drains, and roots from trees and palms seek out the moisture in old pipes and invade them from the inside until they close up completely.
In urbanisations without mains sewers, septic tanks need periodic emptying. Leave it too long and the system backs up, always at the worst possible moment, usually in the middle of summer with the house full of guests. We recommend checking the tank at least once a year, more often if the property gets heavy use through holiday lets.
