Seeing before acting

Pushing a machine or a rod into a pipe blind is like hunting an engine fault without opening the bonnet. It works sometimes, but when a blockage keeps coming back, when the pipe is old, or when a structural crack is suspected, guessing gets expensive. That's why this division has its own endoscopic camera kit: a flexible probe with a camera on the end that runs through the inside of the pipe and sends the image to a screen in real time.

What the camera catches that a normal unblock misses

Tree roots and vegetation

In areas with gardens and mature trees, such as La Mata or Los Balcones, roots chase the moisture inside drainage pipes and end up pushing through poorly sealed joints. The camera shows exactly where and how much the root has grown inside the pipe.

Cracks and breaks

A pipe with a lengthwise crack leaks water into the surrounding ground without it showing on the surface, until damp appears on a wall or the garden sinks at one specific spot. Camera footage tells a recent crack apart from an old break already colonised by sediment.

Foreign objects and construction errors

Leftover debris from old renovation work, compacted wipes, or even tools dropped during an earlier install. We also spot badly calculated falls, a common design flaw in buildings thirty or forty years old that causes recurring blockages with nothing actually broken.

When to ask for a camera inspection

We recommend it when the same point blocks up more than twice within a few months despite being properly cleared, before a renovation that will touch buried pipe runs, and in second-hand property purchases where you want to check the real state of the drainage before signing. It's also the tool our pipe-unblocking and tanker truck teams turn to when mechanical work doesn't fix the underlying cause.

What you get at the end

A video file of the full run and a short report noting the exact point of the finding, measured in metres from the entry access point, plus our recommendation on the next step. If the pipe itself needs repair, we coordinate that job with the right team without you having to look for anyone else.
