Onil grew in one go between the sixties and the eighties, when doll factories employed half the town. A good share of the flats and houses in La Pedrera, Els Plans and the newer streets date from then, and you can tell inside: fuse boards with two circuits for the whole home, wiring sized for a fridge and a washing machine, iron pipes that have given all they had.
